Coming to an AuthorTube near you!

I’ve been toying with the idea of starting my own writing channel on YouTube for some time now and with the current situation bringing back-burning projects to the forefront, I have decided that there is no better time than the present.

I previously attempted to start my channel whilst I was pregnant, but with hideous morning sickness I didn’t even want to talk to people in the physical world, my on-screen presence blurred into a distant dream. I was too icky to be on camera.

But now I am only semi icky and so this past week I got the camera back out again and am pleased to announce my first (though actually, it would be my second…) video on YouTube, going live on Wednesday.

This video is the first in a mini-series for the stationery and planner addicts out there, as well as all the book lovers. Every month for the foreseeable future I will be exploring stationery and book subscription boxes to see what brings the best bang for your buck, and unboxing and reviewing them via my channel (with complimentary blog posts, of course). So, if you like all things paper and print-related, be sure to tune in.

What else can you expect?

Predominantly this will be a writing vlog, giving updates on my creative process and all things Author Assistant, Freelance Writer and just writing in general. I will be covering content such as ‘How to plan a novel’, Character Development, ‘How to get writing gigs’ and much, much more. Not to mention book reviews and hopefully the odd author interview or two.

(If this sounds like something you would like to be apart of then, click here, to subscribe!)

But then this is where you come in – as writers, bloggers and readers yourselves, I have a very important question to ask you – what would you like to see?

After all, there is little point me creating content willy nilly if there are topics my readers/viewers would like to see. And whilst I have a whole host of ideas (I’ve got the filled notebooks to prove it!) of content I would like to produce, I also value your opinions.

So what would you like to see? Is there a particular genre your passionate about and would like to learn more of? Do you want to learn about other people’s writing routines and see who they actually work out for a full-time writer? Would you care for a series on blogging or for regular ‘plan with me?’

It all pretty much boils down to one simple question – what do you expect from a writing channel on YouTube?

Thank you all in advance for any comments or suggestions you care to share. Over here at a gentlewoman and a scholar, I am really ramping up on my content creation and exciting things are starting to happen that I dearly want to share with my readers. So thank you so much for being here with me.
