Alright, so this is an introduction to the author – not a real award. But let’s start off with a bit of fun, shall we?

What is your favorite book and/or movie?

My favorite adult movie is the Mummy. But I will always be a sucker for the Labyrinth, which was my favorite film in childhood. RIP David Bowie 😦

As for books, there are just so many fabulous books out there. I have to give top marks to JK Rowling for all the Harry Potter books as without them dyslexia might have won. But I also like Shogun by James Clavell, Kathrine by Anya Seton, and anything by Dan Brown and Elizabeth Chadwick.

Who has been the biggest influence in your life?

My Father. He is the loveliest man you will ever meet and I cherish him. I call him Hagrid because he looks like the ‘Keeper of Keys and Grounds at Hogwarts’ and he has such a good nature and kindliness to animals.

Where do you hope to be in 5 years time?

In a clean and tidy house with a good book, married to my future hubby with maybe a kiddie on the way and a pet dog by my knee.

Describe what would be your ideal day?

Relaxing with a good book after a long walk in the woods with future husband, having drifted in a warm bath and eaten a nice meal.

Describe yourself in 5 words?

Ambitious, nice, creative, curious, sensible.

What is the best piece of advice you have ever received?

Carpe Diem

Zombie attack or alien invasion, if one had to happen, which would you prefer?

Zombie attack. Let’s just say I know a guy and we’ve got it covered. High vantage point, blunt implements, and a bottle of Glenfiddich.

My old purple KA was once a tribute to the Zombie Apostolic Task Force.

How long have you been blogging?

About ten minutes.

Do you have any goals for 2016?

Start a blog and finish my book.

Do you have any regrets for 2015?

I didn’t see a single rainbow.

What did you want to be when you were little?

Lara Croft from Tomb Raider. She’s super fit, athletic, intelligent and a very rich archeologist adventurer…actually that still sounds pretty good.

The splits. It looks like it hurts and I don’t think I could get back up again.
